The current schedule (subject to modification) is for the following courses:

Microbiology: 23 January 2012
Transfusion Medicine: 26 March 2012

CALL FOR APPLICATIONS- SEMESTER 1, 2012

Applications are now open for Semester 1, 2012 at the Fiji National University College of Medicine, Nursing and Health Sciences (formerly known as the Fiji School of Medicine) for the following courses:

EPI801 Principles & Practice in Epidemiology
EPI806 Biostatistics for Health Research Data Management
HSM804 Human Resource Management in Health
HSM805 Managements of Health Services
PBH803 Pacific Public Health
These courses will allow for admission into the following programs:

Graduate Certificate in Public Health
Postgraduate Certificate in Public Health
Postgraduate Diploma in Public Health
Graduate Certificate in Health Services Management
Postgraduate Certificate in Health Services Management
Postgraduate Diploma in Health Services Management
Applicants can apply for one program and can only enrol into one course per semester.



To be considered eligible, applications MUST INCLUDE all of the following:

(a) Completed POLHN Registration Form endorsed by supervisor

(b) NEW Student: Completed College of Medicine, Nursing and Health Sciences Application Form for Admission to a Postgraduate Program including:

(i) A certified copy of the applicant's full birth certificate;

(ii) Married Certificate or Deed of Poll (if your last name has changed since you were last registered at the College);

(iii) Statement of research intent or draft thesis proposed certified copies of all award certificates and full academic transcripts;

(iv) Full detailed curriculum vitae.

Or

CONTINUING Student: Completed Pre-Enrolment Form

(c) A certified copy of the applicant's recent academic transcript from the College

Note: Continuing POLHN sponsored students are expected to monitor their grades each semester and to be aware that failure to meet the obligations of the courses in which they are enrolled will put them at risk of academic probation or not being accepted for participation in future courses and/or sponsorship.


Applications for POLHN sponsorship close Tuesday 25th October 2011.
